Residential
Snodland Modern Porcelain Garden Re-landscape

This residential project was a large, sweeping garden re-landscape for a rural home in Snodland, Kent. The original garden felt tight and boxed-in, with retaining walls dominating the space and making it uncomfortable to use. The brief was simple: pull everything back, open it up, and create a garden that feels spacious, calm and easy to live in.
Sustainable Garden Solutions removed the majority of the existing garden and reworked the structure to soften hard lines and improve flow from the house outwards. The new layout centres on a clean, modern hardscape using two complementary tones of porcelain paving, paired with robust timber elements to bring warmth and balance. Railway sleepers were installed to form strong, practical edges and levels, and prefabricated timber structures were fitted on site to achieve a crisp finish with an efficient install.
This was a mix of heavy graft and careful machine work where accuracy mattered as much as effort. With tidy detailing and well-planned groundworks, we delivered a strong, usable framework the client can enjoy immediately. Planting was intentionally left for the homeowner to complete, giving them the freedom to finish the garden in their own style once the main landscaping and structure were in place.
