Rain Garden, SuDS Tree Pit & Drainage in Liverpool

Sustainable Garden Solutions delivered a substantial retrofit SuDS and landscaping project in Liverpool, transforming areas of existing hard landscape into a multifunctional surface-water management, planting and biodiversity scheme.

The project brought together a naturalistic rain garden, HydroPlanters, three SuDS Pod roof-water management units, around 40 metres of commercial ACO drainage and a RootSpace SuDS tree pit. Rather than sitting as isolated drainage features, the systems were integrated into one cohesive landscape incorporating trees, planting and naturalistic stone detailing.

Delivery within a busy operational environment called for careful programming, access management and coordination throughout, resulting in a scheme that shows SGS's ability to deliver rain gardens, SuDS tree pits, sustainable drainage and commercial landscaping across Liverpool and the wider North West.
