Bespoke HydroPlanter & SuDS Landscaping on The Wirral

Sustainable Garden Solutions delivered the specialist landscaping and installation package for a bespoke sustainable drainage scheme on The Wirral, transforming existing hard landscape into an attractive planted SuDS feature designed to manage rainwater while enhancing the surrounding environment.

The project combined HydroPlanter Max systems with specialist groundworks, drainage integration, planting, clean landscape edging and decorative stone detailing. Challenging ground conditions, including significant level changes and areas of bedrock, meant the installation method had to be adapted during delivery. The completed landscape incorporates a distinctive river-inspired finish using blue slate and pea shingle alongside varied planting.

The project shows SGS's ability to deliver technically detailed HydroPlanter, SuDS and sustainable landscaping work, bringing groundworks, drainage, planting and landscape finishing together within one coordinated installation.
