Native Rewilding Planting Support Essex

Essex Estuary Rewilding in Essex was a large-scale commercial project support package delivered at short notice across multiple estuary locations. We were asked to step in quickly to fulfil a significant rewilding planting scope and we moved fast to get everything in place. RAMS were signed off, travel plans were organised, and Sustainable Garden Solutions got boots on the ground.

Over a series of weeks, we supported the planting of tens of thousands of native saplings to help rewild the area and strengthen long-term habitat. The work was demanding and consistent with the conditions you expect on estuary sites: thick mud, constant rain, repetitive planting, and long days where the standard still has to stay high.

This kind of conservation work depends on doing the basics properly every time. We focused on the small details that make large planting schemes succeed including spacing, depth, and consistency, even when the weather and ground conditions made every task harder. The result is a meaningful contribution to conservation through native planting, helping establish the foundations for long-term environmental value across the Essex estuaries.
