SuDS Pods & Roof Water Management in Birkenhead

Sustainable Garden Solutions delivered a specialist roof-water and sustainable drainage installation in Birkenhead, Wirral, turning building runoff into a visible and planted part of the surrounding landscape.

The project incorporated 15 SuDS Pod roof-water management units, 27.8 metres of HydroPlanter Max and two flow chamber arrangements, complemented by landscape edging, timber and rope features, seating and associated surface works. Each Pod was carefully positioned, levelled and connected into the wider rainwater-management arrangement before being filled and finished as a planted landscape feature.

The completed scheme shows how roof runoff can be intercepted, managed and turned into attractive planted SuDS systems, while showcasing SGS's capability across SuDS Pods, HydroPlanters, drainage integration and commercial landscaping throughout Birkenhead and Wirral.
