Residential
Luddesdown Nature Pool Design & Planting

For this residential project in Luddesdown, we designed a wildlife-friendly nature pool to add an extra boost to an already enriched natural space. The brief was clear: the customer was already seeing heaps of wildlife arriving from the surrounding area and wanted to give it an even bigger reason to stay.
Sustainable Garden Solutions created a pool that feels properly in touch with the earth, supported by wetland planting and built-in habitat features. We integrated hibernacula and bee hotels to strengthen shelter and nesting opportunities while keeping the overall look naturalistic and purposeful.
A standout detail is the “Yellow Brick Road” path, a bold piece of detailing that jumps off the page while still taking a back seat to the pool itself. Alongside the main feature, we added wider habitat improvements with new fruiting trees and areas of wildflower turf, helping the garden feel full of life through sound, movement and seasonal change.
