Urgent SuDS remedials in Manchester including tree pit install, external ACO drainage, planting and reinstatement

We were brought in to support an urgent package of emergency remedial works on a live education site. Working alongside the principal contractor, Sustainable Garden Solutions helped pull multiple finishing elements together to get the project over the line with safety, tidiness and coordination at the centre of delivery.

The scope included key SuDS finishing and remedials, where We focused on the details that affect both long-term performance and final presentation. We took real care over plant layout, spacing and pruning so the planting photographed well and presented exactly as intended at handover. We also formed and installed a new tree pit, completing the excavation and installation with a clean, reinstated finish around the work area.

Alongside the SuDS and planting presentation, We supported the external finishing works that make a handover run smoothly. This included clearing waste timbers, resetting and finishing posts and edging lines, distributing stone around the planters, installing site signage, and completing external ACO drainage works including additional sections where required. We also planned practical workarounds to support site furniture and seating installation.

To close out the programme, Sustainable Garden Solutions completed a full site tidy and jet wash, plus smaller practical fixes including barrier repairs and a welfare-unit clean, leaving the site safe, presentable and ready for sign-off.
